Broadcasting your feed means submitting the URL (web address) of your feeds to selected
RSS feed pools and other web sites to syndicate your content and alert people to
the existence of your RSS files.
With Commtraxx RSS Builder, you can submit your feed to three (3) locations.
All 3 listing services are free of charge.
- FeedBurner (www.feedburner.com)
You will need to set up a FeedBurner account first. This can be done free of charge
and only takes a few moments. Once you are registered you can use the Commtraxx
RSS Builder "Broadcast Your Feed" screen to quickly submit your new feeds for listing
in FeedBurner.
- Technorati (www.technorati.com)
Your feed will "ping" Technorati so that they can add your feed to their extensive
reservoir of available RSS feeds on the internet.
- Commtraxx Plaza - for Real Estate feeds only (www.cplaza.com.au)
Your real estate listings will appear in the
Commtraxx Plaza Real Estate section.

How To Broadcast
You can access the "Broadcast Your Feed" screen in one of two ways:
Either select TOOLS - BROADCAST YOUR FEED from the main top menu bar. This method
requires that you the feed URL and feed name yourself. You can use this method to
broadcast the existence of ANY of yoru RSS feeds - not necessarily only those that
you have produced with Commtraxx RSS Builder.
Or you will be taken to this screen after you PUBLISH your feed. This method pre-populates
the feed URL and feed name fields.
The "Broadcast Your Feed" screen is shown below. Simply click the button corresponding
to the site you want to submit your feed to. For FeedBurner, you will be required
to enter your FeedBurner acccount login details first. Click the REGISTER link above
the login area if you need to create a new account. As soon as you are advised that
you are successfully registered, close the browser window in which you are working
and enter your username and password in the "Boradcast Your Feed" screen's FeedBurner
section.
