Set your default feed properties to saver you time when producing your feeds.
The default choices will pre-populate your FEED PROPERTIES screens every time you
create a new feed. There are only defaults and you can always change the contents
of your feed properties fields when you create your feeds.
1. SITE NAME
This is the name of your web site -
not the URL (web address).
2. YOUR SITE'S URL
The web address of your site's home page or other page of relevance to
all items contained in your feed. Always include the prefix http://.
3. COPYRIGHT
If the contents of your feed are under copyright, you can add the copyright string
here.
4. WEBMASTER E-MAIL
the e-mail address of the person to whom queries about this feed should be addressed
if your subscribers require more information.
Feed Title Image
This section can be used to place a logo graphic at the top of your feed. This
will only be viewable to those who have subscribed to your feed. These fields are
OPTIONAL. You may leave them blank if you do not wish to display an image at the
top of your feed.
6. IMAGE URL
The web address of the image you wish to use. Always commence with the prefix http://.
Your image must ALREADY BE HOSTED on a web server. After entering the web address
and navigating away from this field, the image will appear in the box to the right
if it has been correctly referenced. We have used the Yahoo logo below as an example.
7. IMAGE HYPERLINK URL
The web page to which people should be sent when they click on your image. Always
commence with the prefix http://.
8. IMAGE CAPTION
The mouse-over text which the user will see when they place their cursor over your
image.
The other options are relevant only to REAL ESTATE FEEDS.
Set your default county, state, meausrement unit (for floor space) and currency
symbol.
Press SAVE to store your options.
You can open and change your defalt options at any time using the TOOLS - OPTIONS
menu...
