To add an item to a real estate feed, click open your feed to view the FEED CONSTRUCTOR
screen. Click ADD NEW ITEM button.
Complete the item view, bieng sure to populate each of the required fields marked
with an asterisk (*).
If you have images which are located on your own computer, you can click the UPLOAD
IMAGES button to save them from your computer to your web server and simultaneously
add the their new web address to the Item View image hyperlink fields.
You can alter the file name of your image files as they are to appear on your web
server by editing the NAME box below each image. These may
not be blank.
To remove a displayed image, click the REMOVE button below the image. To add or
change an image click the CHANGE button below the image.
One you have set your images, select the appropriate FTP location and click UPLOAD
IMAGES.
Press the TEST buttons next to your image and Ad URL fields to view these items.
This provides the opportunity to verify the web addresses entered.
Field Explanations
Most field are self explanatory. The following may require further insight:
1. Sale By Owner : Tick this if you are the owner of the property
and not an agent.
2. Ad URL: This is the web address of the FULL LISTING appearing
on your own web site, or the address of another page in yoru website where a vistor
can obtain contact details to obtain more information about the property. This is
the web page to which people will be brought when they click the headline of the
item.
3. My Listing ID: The listing reference or ID that you wish to
apply to this property. This should correspond to the reference in your own system
or on your web site. (if applicable). This may be letters, numbers, symbols
or a combination.
Press SAVE to store your item and return to the FEED CONSTRUCTOR screen.
Repeat the process to add as many items as required. Try to limit each feed to now
more than about 40 items.
